- We officially "passed cert" for both offline and online, on all three consoles, in EU and NA regions. This is good, cuz that means there's NO chance the game will be delayed. WOW! 19 days to go.

So it’s wild to actually say this but… today official marks 30 days untilToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! launches! It’s been quite a journey getting these funky aliens back to Earth, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out. We hope you all will feel the same way when we pass the game over to you on March 1st.

Even though the game is ready for the world, we still have much to do here at the studio to get ready for March 1st and beyond. So in the meantime, we’d like to update you on a few things you can look out for in the coming month:

Contests!
OOOooo yeah homies. We’ve got more contests... TWO, actually! The first, that we’re starting up today, is to win yet another system we’re launching on, and that’s an Xbox One. Not just ANY Xbox One, but a Xbox One X!!! And all of you have a chance at winning! Just Retweet and Like the tweet linked below and Follow us on twitter at @toejamandearl. We’ll have extra prizes to unlock at various milestones so make sure to spread that word, yo!
And then, in MARCH we’ll be doing a similar giveaway for a Nintendo Switch! So keep an eye out for that :)

STREAMING!
Make sure to Watch Us Stream on Twitch - Every Tuesday at 4 PST/7 EST where we stream ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! action, usually with Nap and GeekJam arguing for a few hours ! On Fridays, in afternoons we also have some fun “Free-play” time! You never know who might join us ;)

KickStarter PC Physical & Limited Run Games Physical Editions Time-Frame
Due to the way production on the box sets work, these KS Physical Box Set rewards will unfortunately not ship out on launch and we expect them to arrive to you in April/May. We know this is not ideal and for some of you, this was the only version of the game you reserved, so to make sure everyone can play on launch day, we’ll be adding an extra digital Steam code to ALL orders that included the Physical Box Set. Don’t need the extra code? Give it to a pal -- ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! is online up to 4 players ya know.
We are very excited to also let you know that pre-orders for the Limited Run Games Physical Standard Editions will be available shortly, with more info to come in the next update, including dates for when pre-orders will open, price point, etc.

The Funkotron Shop
There has been high demand lately for us to do a restocking of the merchandise in our online store, such as the vinyl figures. We’ve heard your call! In a week or so we’ll have a limited restocking of vinyl figures as well as the Carrotman keychains from the Kickstarter and we’ll be sure to let you know when it’s live so that you can get your goodies. If you have a family member or friend who missed out the first time, now’s their final chance! Additionally, we have lowered the price on the Vinyl Record, Posters and more, so check out the site and please consider supporting your boys!

Important!
If you signed up for a game code for Nintendo Switch or for Playstation 4 but you are in Europe or Australia, we need you to update your game codes in the Backerkit and make sure you have the right version!
If you want any console code and you haven’t updated that in the BackerKit yet, this is your last chance!
Use the account specific links we’ve distributed by email last month to check or make alterations to your order. We'll be sending another one out just to be safe.
Codes will be locked on Sunday 1/13/2019 11:59PM PST so make sure you update it ASAP so you can get your game on the right platform and in the right region!

Hey you funkadelic Earthlings! Did you have the grooviest of holidays and a funktastic New Years? We hope you got all the presents you were hoping for -- No Total Bummers!! -- and maybe you even snuck up on Santa? We sure did!
As we announced in 2018, with this new year you’ll be receiving a new TJ&E. The all new ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove will be set loose on the universe in about 2 months -- March 1st -- And we’re ready to JAM right along with you! In the meantime we want to give you a few updates and reminders so you’re up to speed on everything...
Console Codes
Our original cut off for swapping your PC/MAC/Linux copies to console codes was Jan. 8th, but a number of you have run into some issues there and we wanted to make sure every single backer who wants to swap will have extra time to do just that. Some of you have also run into bugs in our backerkit system, and we’re doing our best to give you the individual support you deserve. The holidays slowed our support efforts a bit, but we’re back in full swing. For these reasons we've extended the cut off to Jan. 12th instead!
If you’re still waiting for assistance, you should hear from Nathan or another team member within the next two days.

Quick reminder that we’ll be showing Back in the Groove at PAX South in San Antonio, TX from Jan. 18 - 20th! This will be the final convention we attend before the game launches, so if you plan on going, make sure to stop by our booth and play! TJ&E Let’s-Plays and Streams - We’ve linked up with some great youtube and twitch channels so far to help us get the word out about Back in the Groove through the first week of March.. Some of them are backers even. But we could always use more and we’d like to hear from YOU! Who would YOU like to see playing Back in the Groove? (if you’re into this sort of thing) Ideally twitch or youtube channels that focus on multiplayer :)
Getting ready for launch - We’ll be shooting a commercial in the next week -- full of 90s flair and weirdness -- and we have another trailer in the works that might look familiar to Earthlings who remember the ToeJam & Earl TV spot from 1991. We’re also working out the details for a possible ToeJam & Earl telethon on or around after launch day!

Yo Backers! WASSUP!
The day has come, you can now change your game codes on Backerkit from PC/MAC/Linux to consoles (if you're into that sorta thing) -- you have until Jan 8, 2019 before we put in our orders and you will be locked in.
"How do we make these changes?", you might be asking..
Well we JUST sent out an email to every single one of you that includes instructions and a personalized link that will take you directly to your ToeJam & Earl Backerkit account. No login needed!
Once you've accessed your Backerkit account, click on the link in the upper right corner of the page where it says "Edit Your Order". Once there, either click "Edit Your Pledge Question Responses" to change your platforms, or "Edit Shipping Info" to update your address.
In addition to changing platforms, this will also give you the chance to update your shipping address if you are expecting a Kickstarter Indiebox Physical Edition. Since these emails are only going out to Kickstarter backers, you'll also be given one final opportunity to nab one of these Indiebox version of Back in the Groove if you didn't during the initial campaign. To do this, make sure to click on the "Edit Add-ons" section.
"What if I don't want to change from the platforms I chose? I still want a Steam code."
That's totally fine! You don't have to change your platform of choice or your address. This email is just to give backers that option.
"At the tier level I backed, I'm owed more than one copy of Back in the Groove. Can I swap those additional copies for console codes as well?"
Absolutely! You can swap as many codes as you are owed.
"The link in my email doesn't seem to work. What do I do?"
Despite out best efforts, this can still happen sometimes. If you find yourself running into a problem like this, feel free to email us at [email protected]
"I'm not seeing this email you're talking about. What's the deal?"
We sent these emails to the original email address that every backer used when they contributed to the ToeJam & Earl campaign. Double check to make sure that the email youre checking is the one you used when you backed the game.
"If I swap for a PS4 code, will I also receive the ToeJam & Earl dynamic theme for free?"
Yes! These codes you'll be swapping for are technically pre-orders and so the PS4 codes through backerkit will also come with dynamic theme.
OTHER FUN STUFF
Over the weekend we debuted a new animated trailer for ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove at the Kinda Funny Games Showcase. We hope some of you were able to catch the live stream! We were in great company, with many phenomenal indie games showing off new trailers of their own!
For those who weren't able to tune in, here is a video of our portion. What? WOAH! A wild Freddie Prinze Jr. appears! It's very effective.
ALSO over the weekend, CNet unveiled a fun video interview and retrospective with Greg about ToeJam & Earl for their new show "So Retro".
